I like the customizable tags, custom fields, ID number generation, and other small details that make the system helpful. They are also building their LMS, which could eventually allow us to keep more functions in one system. They do try their best to provide solutions, but many changes or customizations come with an additional cost.

> **Puntos en contra**: The biggest limitation is the user permissions and roles. Many offices need admin-level access to complete their work, but admin access gives visibility to the full system instead of only the specific areas they need. This makes it difficult to assign access in a more limited or department-specific way.&#10;&#10;There are also limitations with certain features and functionality. For example, we would like to implement self-registration, but the current system has limitations that prevent us from fully using it without an external solution or workaround.&#10;&#10;New features or custom requests often come with additional costs, even though those improvements may eventually benefit other customers as well. At times, it can feel like we are helping with product development while also paying for the improvements. That said, we do appreciate that they are trying to improve the system.

> There is a love/hate with ampEducator. I love the look of it, I like that it can be flexible and easy to use. It would be great for simple, straight forward companies / organizations but for more complex, higher education it is difficult to get what you need done which is what we experience. &#10;&#10;We have to pay to get special features created in order to get what we need done and later those features are given to the rest of the customers at no charge. I feel like we do help AmpEducator expand its capabilities so it's great for people who use it now. &#10;&#10;AmpEducator is limiting and there are a lot of workarounds and errors that come up. It can be frustrating. It's affordable for us at this time, it's really hard to switch out right now, and the customer support really do try to help and fix things but it does take time.
