> **Puntos a favor**: StarChapter combines a lot of separate programs we previously used into one easy to access program. It manages email forwarders, displays sponsors logos on our website, and automatically updates based off of when the sponsor has paid through. StarChapter also allows us to setup email templates that are automatically sent to new or lapsed members which eliminates the need for our membership chair to constantly have to remember to check our rosters and compare them month to month.

Some of the functions and website design aren't as intuitive as we would have liked and has required additional training for the less tech savvy members on our board.

> Starchapter has saved our organization a lot of money by reducing the subscriptions we had into one program. Setting up the website was easy to do with the SC support team, there were a few add-ons that we didn't anticipate that cost a little bit more, but we still saved hundreds by switching to StarChapter. Our organization is super excited to enhance our online presence with our members and sponsors through StarChapter\!

> **Puntos a favor**: StarChapter is a fantastic platform for our association chapter because it provides many features that are plug and play, so our site looks professional without requiring a background in website design. It allows us to manage our event and membership and it's an excellent value for the money compared to competitors.

> **Puntos en contra**: Some of the ready to go templates are not easy to manipulate with regards to formatting. The features that would allow easy changes to font, indents, spacing and tables are difficult to format and often require extra time and steps to achieve the desired result.

> Overall, our association chapter is pleased with StarChapter and would recommend it to other chapters.

We moved to StarChapter expecting a reliable association management system with responsive customer support, but our experience has consistently fallen short of expectations. The platform has not delivered the functionality, stability, or service we were promised. Only the website works well.

> **Puntos en contra**: Everything. The errors and the lack of support or care when we contact you to have things fixed. Our experience has been extremely frustrating. The platform is plagued with bugs, ongoing errors and timeouts, and features that either do not work as advertised or require repeated support requests, incognito windows, and other browsers to get things like photos uploaded. The biggest disappointment has been customer support. Communication is inconsistent, and there is little sense of urgency or accountability. As an association management company serving multiple nonprofit organizations, we rely on our AMS every day. Instead of helping us operate more efficiently, StarChapter has created additional work, member frustration, and lost confidence in the system. I have since transitioned away from this system with other clients and will do the same for this last one soon\!

We invested significant time and resources implementing the platform, only to encounter continuous technical issues and inadequate support. Rather than being a partner in our success, StarChapter has become a source of ongoing operational challenges. We cannot confidently recommend the platform to other associations based on our experience. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements in both the software and the level of customer service provided.

It allows us to have a website and collects dues as well as capture registrations for our annual conference. We love the credit card payment solution and reporting integrated within the system.

> **Puntos en contra**: The one drawback for us is the awkward way memberships are by person instead of by company. There are extra steps to complete to keep all people from the same company listed as paid members.

> They have been great to work with. Support tickets are generally resolved in 24 hours. Help information is available online to solve many questions for ourselves.
