I enjoy the convenience of undo/redo and multiple tabs. Notetab also comes with powerful functionality (in the form of programmable Clip commands). I have had no need to write Clip code myself but I make use of the built in utilities. Features I find most useful include the ability to compare two files, evaluating mathematical expressions within a file, and the powerful Regular Expression search functionality. > > **Puntos en contra**: I've never turned to Notetab with a task and been disappointed.For all the years that I have used Notetab, I've never had a need to purchase the pro version. The biggest disadvantage of this, for me, is not having multiple-level undo/redo functionality. If this ever proved to be problematic, the one-off purchase price of Pro is a fairly painless solution. > > Notetab is one of my favourite pieces of software and typically the first thing I install on a new computer.
