Cover page options are limited and I wanted more control over them. Same with customizing beyond the standard sections — building something like a pricing packet meant working around the templates instead of with them. My first draft ended up significantly too long (around 100 pages), whereas VC expectations were closer to 20 pages. More built-in guidance or constraints on scope and structure would be valuable.
