Section 1(E) specifically states that a customer has the right and ability to cancel a subscription “at any time.” I copied and pasted that exact language into the live chat, but I was still told to wait 351 days and cancel later. I also pointed out the California automatic-renewal requirements applicable to online cancellation. After roughly 20 minutes of back-and-forth, Textedly finally stated that my account had been set to cancel at the end of the annual term. However, they did not provide documentation or proof of cancellation, and my billing page still showed a future charge scheduled on the account. I requested written proof that billing was canceled and that no additional charges would be made, but at the time of this review I had not received that confirmation. My main concern is not simply that a refund was denied. It is that the cancellation process did not match the written Terms of Service they provided to me, and I had to repeatedly argue with support before they said they would process the cancellation. > > I purchased a $348 annual Textedly subscription on September 14, 2026.
