The way ZipRecruiter sends daily emails that compile a list of jobs that not only is tailored to the types of jobs people are looking for (office, warehouse, retail, trades in our case etc.) but also jobs that may have been open awhile not just job posts that are from today etc. Even a week or two into having a job posted on there, I have had candidates reach out saying they say the job suggested to them in their daily email by the virtual job assistant. Indeed has different tiers of "sponsorship" for jobs in which your job post may only be really boosted and suggested when it is fresh. Zip is always promoting your job\! I have not hired one person in the past 4 years off of ZipRecruiter because I am looking for Plumbers and Drain Cleaners or Water Damage technicians and all I get is applications from waitresses, pizza makers, retail but no one with relevant hands on experience like HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, Contractor, Landscaping, Handyman etc. I don't know if they use an algorithm but if they do it is way off. > > It is overall easy to use, the customer support seems to be automated but it very helpful and suggests jobs to people based on type of jobs they are looking for which is helpful.
