Since it’s web-based, I can log in and handle stuff from anywhere. The price is pretty decent too, not crazy expensive. Sending messages or emails to customers is a breeze, which I totally love. It just makes my work so much easier, a really practical tool.

The inventory system feels a bit clunky—like it’s not fully there yet, though they’re apparently working on it. Also, since it’s cloud-based, if the internet craps out, you’re kinda screwed unless you’ve got a backup plan. The reports can be confusing too; sometimes I couldn’t figure out what data it was pulling, and I had to bug support to explain it. Oh, and the look of it? Kinda dated, like it’s stuck in the early 2000s. Still, these are more annoyances than dealbreakers for me.

> **Puntos en contra**: We were 17 year Mitchel1 users, So coming from them to ShopBoss some of the things you can and cant do seem odd. Id like to be able to change the width of some of the items in the W.I.P.. Id like to be able to change the status( Inspection,Approval,Parts,Etc..) into my own custom labels and then color code them on the W.I.P.. I dont like the operation of a recomended Repair, I prefer the Revision(From Mitchel), basically an open quote stuck to the customers vehicle profile that I can see with out having to reopen. There seems to be a lot of Re opening things. Sometimes, Rarely, But Sometimes, The cloud base can be an Issue\! It would be nice to have some sort of Server Based "imprint" or "Copy" for when there are Internet issues, either on my end or Shop Boss's end.

It improved the means to supervise daily results and assisted in making fast decisions which directly affect the profits of the shop.

> **Puntos en contra**: One weakness found in the part ordering feature is that it does not offer order tracking for backordered goods. If one is working with multiple suppliers, it is a little irritating to update each status by the time one is busy with lots of orders especially in busy moments.
