Lo mejor para modelado 3D

Comentarios: Es un software súper completo, cumple todas mis expectativas, me ayuda a entregar trabajos de calidad hacia mis clientes, me ha permitido hacer todo tipo de diseños en 2D y 3D.Sin duda para mi, sería de los mejores programas actuales en el mercado de diseño.Es muy completo

Puntos a favor:

Me gusta por la amplia gama de herramientas que ofrece para el modelado 3D, permite crear cualquier modelo complejo. Gracias a la biblioteca de componentes te facilita mucho tiempo en el diseño de muchos proyectos.Lo que más me gustó de este software es la función de simulación, lo cual me ayuda a entregar prototipos a mis clientes de muy buena calidad

Contras:

Cuando estás en modelado 3D, puede llegar a veces ser un poco lento el programa, pero ya depende mucho de el equipo con el que estés trabajando

Programa de vanguardia para el diseño

Comentarios: Muy contento porque estamos realizando diseños a la primera, sin errores, reduciendo nuestros costes de generación de útiles de trabajo.

Puntos a favor:

Las funcionalidades que tiene y lo rápido que se adapta uno a él.

Contras:

El precio. Las licencias son muy caras, aunque se amortiza el gasto si tienes buenos diseñadores manejando.

Experiencia con SolidWorks Premium

Comentarios: Con la ayuda de Solidworks la empresa a resulto varios retos de la ingeniería mecánica con la este programa CAD se solucionan al día varios diseños estructurales que tomaría días en sus estudio, con el apoyo de solidworks el tiempo de diseño es optimo y sus resultados son precisos y eficaces al momento de la fabricación de la piezas diseñas en el software.

Puntos a favor:

Su interfaz y su ambiente de trabajo de diseño es excelente para la creación de piezas mecánicas, tanto en 2D como en 3D, tiene herramientas de CAD excelentes que ahorrar mucho tiempo al momento de dibujar las piezas, por otro lado es un software completo además del CAD se tiene un análisis de esfuerzo de sistemas estáticos y dinámicos, se puede crear animaciones de cada uno de estos sistemas y lo mas importante que sus resultados de los análisis estructurales son muy reales y precisos.

Contras:

Se podría mejorar en el tiempo que ocupa el software para la simulación de eventos, este en ocasiones es demasiado largo haciendo que el trabajo demore.

Reseña Solid Works como herramienta para diseño 3D

Comentarios: Uso mucho el software y me ayuda mucho a la hora de modelar 3d mis diseños. Mi única sugerencia seria una opción para crear formas mas orgánicas y fluidas para complementar.

Puntos a favor:

Es muy útil para diseñar modelados reproducibles en la vida real. El sofware no deja crear formas y/o volumetrías que no pueden ser construidas en la realidad, de modo que los modelados intentan ser lo mas cercanos a la realidad posible. Es muy útil para hacer trabajos de chapa, incorporar engranajes, mecanismos diversos, tornillos, etc.

Contras:

El software no permite lograr formas muy orgánicas. Es bastante estructurado y se maneja mejor para formas geométricas.

Gran 3D software

Puntos a favor:

Muy amigable, puedes proyectar en 3D prácticamente todo. Animar movimientos. Sacar planos. Cálculos estructurales básicos con su asistente. Renderizados. Es muy intuitivo, cualquiera con nociones básicas de diseño puede utilizarlo.

Contras:

El asistente de elementos finitos es bastante básico. Con un nivel más sería perfecto.

Herramienta diseño muy completa e intuitiva

Comentarios: Lo he usado mucho a nivel profesional, es muy agradable su interfaz y además está en castellano

Puntos a favor:

Fácil manejo desde el primer día. Tutoriales incluidos en el software muy buenos. Posibilidad de configurar teclas rápidas para dibujar más rapido. Es un software profesional muy estandarizado con todas las funciones y herramientas que necesita cualquier ingeniero mecánico.

Contras:

En diseños muy complejos o grandes, pierde fluidez en movimientos y operaciones. Tarda mucho y a veces falla al traducir formatos neutros 3D. Incompatibilidad con versiones de otros años.

Excelente Herramientas

Comentarios: Es una excelente herramienta la recomiendo bastante para comenzar hacer piezas en 3D, es mas fácil y técnico que otros softwares CATS

Puntos a favor:

Es muy bueno y compresible, maneja la mejor interfaz de softwares, esto ayuda mucho al usuario

Contras:

Siento que llega a tener muchos bugs pequeños, también es muy caro como un usuario promedio lo menciono ya que si no estas en una institución que pueda pagar estas licencias quedas muy limitado

Herramienta fundamental de diseño

Puntos a favor:

Lo suelo usar diariamente para la facultad. Es de gran ayuda en proyectos donde se necesita definición y control de la forma y dimensiones.

Contras:

Es difícil poder generar superficies complejas de manera intuitiva. Se necesita capacitación extra para poder dominar el programa.

Industry Standard 3D Modelling That Does Most Things Well

Comentarios: Have used this software for approx. 20yrs and remain happy with it. I've tried some alternatives that each had some pros and cons relative to SW, but I still remain with SW as it is the best. If they would deal with the licensing issue I mentioned above I would be very happy with SW.

Puntos a favor:

It remains the industry standard so is a must-have for any design agency. It does all of the basics very well and from a functional standpoint it isn't missing much.

Contras:

Surface modelling functions are very limited, but BY FAR the biggest problem is the licensing model. They FORCE you to upgrade annually by bricking the software such that you cannot open any files created by a newer version of SW.

Comentarios: I've been using solidworks for almost 5 years medical devices ....it's the best in market & never faced any serious issues that couldn't be resolved

The changes between model years can be frustrating. Sometimes locations of common functions move and it can be annoying to have to relearn the software.

Multipurpose 3D modeling with Solidworks Premium

Comentarios: It is really a productive tools if used correctly.
Very intuitive and user friendly interface.

It can be used in almost any kind of industry that manufactures physical products/consumables. The learning curve is steep but in the long run it will serve well.

Contras:

There are too many features that might not be useful for one type of company,still one has to pay for the full package. Steep learning curve.

It's nice to create and build 3D model, especially if the product is going to be produced, it can easily be evaluated within manufacturing phase and perspective.

Contras:

For mesh and curve 3D models, it's quite hard and requires other software to integrate with.

Career Using Solidworks

Comentarios: Overall, Solidworks has become a trusty tool for me. I'm able to get my point across clearer with a 3D drawing with detailed views to the customer instead of working on a physical model. I suggest taking classes if you're very new to the world of 3D modeling but if you have an understanding of it, a quick set of Youtube tutorials can get you on track easily. I recommend this product to anyone who has a creative mind and wants to make objects digitally with hopes to transfer it into a physical model.

Solidworks is good for taking things you've drawn and giving precise dimensions to make it as accurate to the object you're trying to create or recreate as possible. You're able to transfer these drawings to machines that can cut and print what you've done after. Since this software is so popular among design/engineer firms, thousands of tutorials and helpful guides can be found on the internet to help with anything you are trying to produce, along with many forums with knowledgeable people that are willing to help. It has many modes that can simulate object properties if you assign a material to it and will give you a close representation of what you'd expect in the real world.

Contras:

Solidworks has trouble with organic shapes. If you are doing something that requires a bulbous shape you might need to look elsewhere like 3DS Max or Maya. It also has trouble with the spline command, which requires a bit more finesse when controlling it.

As a Designer, Solidworks is the best solution for me for creating and modifying 3D designs. There are several versions of SolidWorks, but the Premium edition is the most comprehensive. It offers me an intuitive user interface, powerful engineering tools, and extensive libraries of components and assemblies. I can get a realistic view of how products will look before they are manufactured - this can save time and money. I can easily create complex designs that would be difficult or impossible to create by hand. I can quickly and easily export designs to different program applications for further refinement or production. This will allow me to make changes to the design or produce it in a different format. This software is very easy for me to use and it can be helpful for beginners too. They will be able to create complex 3D models in a short amount of time. I can use this 3D tool to design products with complex shapes and curves. The Bill of Materials Management feature can help me keep track of all the components that go into my product, and how much each component costs.

Contras:

Sometimes, I can't understand some of the tool features to execute for modeling. It is hard to find some errors that occurred while designing a complex model. Sometimes, I get stuck on what tool to use or how to fix an error in my model.

Review after 10 years use of Solidworks

Comentarios: My overall 10+ years experience with solidworks is very fantastic. I learned solidworks in my college days and I am using in my professional carrier. It easy and very useful in product and machine design. It also comes with some analysis tools and add on packages which makes job easy.

Its very user friendly software compare to other softwares. Its make job easy for designers and gives some in build libraries along with premium version which saves the time.

Contras:

Solidworks is expensive than solidedge. Solidworks don't have accuracy compare to NX CAD or CATIA. Surfacing is not that much accurate in solidworks.
