Unparalleled customer service

Comentarios: For the price, it is a fantastic product for small to mid-sized organizations.

The customer service is amazing. Whenever I need a complicated report, the support staff are able to walk me through until I've got what I need.

Contras:

We aren't able to track all our contacts and communications with stakeholders beyond donors.

Development Director

Comentarios: DonorPerfect is comparable to eTapestry, a Blackbaud product that was once an Access database that Blackbaud took over. DonorPerfect isn't as useful as Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge and far less useful a CRM as SalesForce.

Puntos a favor:

DonorPerfect seems to be fairly customizable and recent updates allow users to be very specific when entering gift records.

Contras:

Even with assistance from DP Chat, we have been unable to upload mass contacts into DonorPerfect. For instance, we may have has 250 guests at a fundraising event. We wanted to take an excel sheet with donor names and a comment like "Attended an Event" into each donor record at one time, but were unable to do a single, mass upload instead of entering the contact into records individually. When downloading donations from Online Forms, DonorPerfect always creates a new record even when the existing record is an almost 100% in data. DP Mobile needs updating. It will not allow cards that aren't embossed (the credit card number) to be swiped. Most credit/debit cards are no longer embossed.

The Calvert Marine Museum loves DonorPerfect!

Contras:

While DonorPerfect has significantly improved our membership and donor management at the Calvert Marine Museum, there are a few aspects we like less about the software. The reporting features, though comprehensive, can be a bit tricky to customize, and we’ve found that it takes some time and practice to fully master them.

So glad I chose DonorPerfect

Comentarios: Our company evaluated multiple fundraising software/CRM solutions. DonorPerfect stood out from the rest because of their broad capabilities. They also had excellent customer service. Every other firm made us feel insignificant and as if they were doing us a favor by letting us by their software. The folks at DonorPerfect seem genuinely happy to have us as customers and are very helpful.

Great Donations Processing Tool

Comentarios: It is very organized, helps to process donations easily, and gets the information correct. Also it is easy to retrieve the information from it.

Puntos a favor:

The interface and ways to identify donors are really good and the process of donations are simple.

Contras:

It is hard to connect with other applications outside of the website (Outlook, Webex, etc.)

Great Service for Non-Profits

Comentarios: We had a detailed product demo, followed by a few emails to set us up. Then we had a successful onboarding process with lots of help. It has been running smoothly. They offer everything we needed.

Puntos a favor:

How Easy is is to use. I like that there is support staff to help at any time.

Contras:

I do not have anything that I like least about DP.

Donor Perfect Review

Comentarios: While my experience with Donor Perfect has been short, I've enjoyed using this software. I've used a few other software in my career and this has been the most user friendly. The chat support has been invaluable to my success.

Puntos a favor:

Donor Perfect is a user friendly software with a vast knowledgebase that helps new users become acclimated to the database

Contras:

When splitting gifts and assigning a GL code to each, the GL code from the main gift disappears.

Just right for our needs

Comentarios: The sales and onboarding experience was very professional and they guided us through, despite several delays on our end.

Puntos a favor:

The DP system included the functionality we required at a competitive price.

Contras:

Because there are many optional components and configurations to donor software, it was a bit confusing to compare and understand at first. The system required some upfront efforts to customize the letters, codes, and website donate forms, however the results are worth it.

Donor Perfect is checking all the boxes for us

Comentarios: After only a month of using DonorPerfect, we are still finding additional features that will help in our fundraising efforts. Overall, our experience with DonorPerfect has been excellent. By using DonorPerfect, all of our system platforms are integrated in one place and all donor interactions is recorded within the system. We also can see that DonorPerfect will be helpful in time management.

Our reason for switching to DonorPerfect is that is has helped us move all our components for fundraising into one product. By using DonorPerfect, all of our system platforms are integrated in one place and records all donor interaction within the system. Previously, our email & text communications were not recorded in the donor system. We also like the "scheduled donor outreach" which appears on the Home screen. Using Donor Perfect has removed the duplicate entry of data which saves time and reduces data entry error.

Contras:

Using the Chat Feature sometimes takes awhile before someone logs into the chat to help us. In addition, because of the difference in time zones, we find that the window of time for us to receive help can be challenging. However, with that said, the DonorPerfect team has been helpful in resolving any issues we are having as we learn the system. The Receipting function feels a bit "clunky" at times but we are learning to work within the system.

Great Product, but Lacks Some Vital Customizatin

Comentarios: It's been a good experience. For the most part support is good, but sometimes we get the "issue is being elevated to ..." reponse because support is stumped.

Puntos a favor:

DonorPerfect is easy to learn and use. Import and export functions are easy to use.

Contras:

The definition of "lapsed" donor. Some of the standard reports don't work with our data - we have some complex gift coding due to the nature of our data which makes some reports unusable. Mass emailing outside of Constant Contact would be beneficial. It would be great if email looked more personal with the Constant Contact logo at the bottom of the correspondence.

Excellent price but needs work

Integrates with Constant Contact and Give Cloud, so gifts automatically come in and are assigned to donors.

Contras:

There are a number of issues that seem to be systemic. For example, you cannot open two windows to look at/compare two donors and the batch gift entry screen is hard coded to only show you 10 rows at a time, when the window is much larger than that (and the header fields don't stay in place when you scroll down). Additionally, the filter system is not user-friendly and does not seem to handle a mixture of include/do not include fields. I am often advised to created an affirmative filter that includes every donor, and then subtract out the things I DON'T want. Also, each filter can only use the AND boolean or the OR boolean, not both. If you want to use both, you have to create a compound filter and perhaps even a compound filter filled with compound filters. Very unfriendly to the user. Lastly, the dashboard reporting is quite limited. You can assign solicitors, but there's no dashboard view that will, for example, show you everyone assigned to specific solicitor and what the last contact date/type was. My boss would like to look at his development director's contacts and see where he's at with folks but can't do that.

Highly Recommend DonorPerfect

I Love Donor Perfect

Comentarios: I have been using DonorPerfect for several years. Compared to other donor database platforms I have used it in the past, it is more convenient, easy to use, and affordable.

Puntos a favor:

It is easy to use, it tracks and organizes all donor information, and it keeps our data safe and secure. We also have access to a variety of reports and can create donor tax receipts very easily.

Contras:

I don't have any cons about DonorPerfect.

Easy to use with great customer service

Comentarios: I really like it! I have used a few different platforms now and find DP to be the most accessible.

Puntos a favor:

I love how it's easy to use and that help is always available when I need it. The online forms make it simple to collect donations online.

Contras:

I wish DP had a better system of catching duplicates. Sometimes if [sensitive content hidden] puts her name in as [sensitive content hidden] with the exact same address, it will create a duplicate which we then have to clean up.

Better than Blackbaud but still behind

Comentarios: The change has been bumpy, but the support staff on call have largely been very helpful in quick responses and step by step instructions to resolve our issues.

Puntos a favor:

Like the better integrated approach with fundraising, emails and donor tracking that we were not offered with our previous CRM platform.

Contras:

The system is not visually appealing and there are tasks that are not intuitive in operation. The setup time was quick but there were many unaddressed matters and the data had lots of missing/incorrect information.

Customer service is fantastic

Comentarios: been pretty good- a few of the people when you call in dont know what they are doing but I can usually get someone who does!

DonorPerfect Provides Ease of Use and Robust Features

Give me back my auto de-dupe on the Beta version of Duplicate Merge.

Easy Data Entry and Helpful Staff!

Comentarios: I have been using it for 9 years. If there is something I can't do or don't understand, it is great that I can make a phone call and get the assistance I need from the staff.

Puntos a favor:

The capabilities to keep up with ALL of our donors money interactions (i.e., donations, tributes, purchases, etc). Able to run reports so all departments I interact with know how much money has been raised for their department and how much for each event.

Contras:

There is so much that you can do with Donor Perfect, that I know I have only scratched the surface with what I use it for.

Donor Care Coordinator

Comentarios: I have had an overall good experience with DP- I have felt like they are very quick on returning emails and questions. [sensitive content hidden] is very personable and responsive.

Puntos a favor:

Ever since Donor Perfect update their look it has been better. They have always had great customer service and will walk you through building reports.

Contras:

Perhaps the only con would be how every extra package is separate. Certain things are not included like making a video or sending mass emails.

Effective for Tracking Donors and Donations

Comentarios: My overall experience has been good. The software is effective in managing the data we need managed. Customer service is helpful but sometimes the wait times are long.

Puntos a favor:

I like that it's user friendly and easy to navigate. Customer service is also helpful when trying to problem solve an issue.

Contras:

There are a some features that are restrictive and should be updated. For example, there's an option to automatically record a contact when an email is sent to a donor, but it records it as a receipt sent. You can manually record that the donation was acknowledged but there's no way to set the automatic contact to acknowledge. This is frustrating because the majority of emails sent are to acknowledge, not to send receipts. Building filters is also a bit complicated, but customer service is helpful in that area.

Donor Perfect is Amazing!

Comentarios: I have been using Donor Perfect for years. When I first started it was quite a learning curb since I was less experienced in working with CRMs. However, the longer I've worked with Donor Perfect, the more knowledgeable I have become about CRMs in general.

I like the customizability of Donor Perfect. You can add fields for anything you want to track or information you need to collect. I also love the customer support. They have the best customer service I've ever experienced and their representatives are knowledgeable. I always know that my problem will be solved when I reach out for help.

Contras:

I do not like the events section. I've used other software that is more robust.

I appreciate being able to call the support team at Donor Perfect for assistance in creating a new report, event, online form, etc. I also love the Knowledge base, with numerous webinars and articles about utilizing the software. I am new to the nonprofit field, and never worked with a donation or CRM software before. Through the resources provided, I have been able to teach myself how to use Donor Perfect.

Contras:

I don't know what I don't know in Donor Perfect. After being in my role as a Development Assistant for 6 months, I finally learned about receipting in Donor Perfect. This is an incredible tool, but I just did not know that it existed. It was months before I discovered the Knowledgebase, and that has been a lifesaver.
